Mustafa Suleyman is a British AI entrepreneur and author. He co-founded DeepMind in 2010 (acquired by Google in 2014), where he served as Head of Applied AI. He later co-founded Inflection AI and launched Pi (a conversational AI assistant). In 2024, he became CEO of Microsoft AI.
Suleyman was named a Commander of the British Empire in 2019, and was listed among TIME’s 100 most influential people in AI in 2023 and 2024. He’s a Senior Fellow at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard Kennedy School.
