Mortimer J. Adler

Dr. Mortimer J. Adler was an American philosopher, educator, and author of more than 50 books. He taught at Columbia University and the University of Chicago, served as chairman of the Encyclopedia Britannica Board of Editors, founded the Institute for Philosophical Research, and was an Honorary Trustee of the Aspen Institute.
