Barbara Oakley

Barbara Oakley is an American professor of engineering at Oakland University and McMaster University. Oakley is involved in various areas of research from STEM education to learning practices. She was previously enlisted in the U.S. Army. She holds a B.A. in Slavic Languages and Literature, a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Systems Engineering.
