Carol Dweck is the Lewis and Virginia Eaton Professor of Psychology at Stanford University. She is a leading research in the field of motivation, and is best known for her work on the mindset psychological trait. She graduated from Barnard College in 1967 and earned a Ph.D. from Yale University in 1972. She has held professorships at Columbia and Harvard Universities, has lectured all over the world, and has been elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
